Warbirds

101st Airborne Division Headquarters is a re-enacting group committed to preserving, honoring and remembering the men and women who fought and served during World War II. Our focus is the representation of the paratroopers and glider troops of the 101st Airborne Division from 1942 to 1945.

We participate in living history events, veteran’s parades and reenactments, where we interact with veterans, other reenactor units, and the general public toward the education of this time period in World History. We strive to portray the men and women of the “Greatest Generation”, with as much accuracy as possible in uniform, equipment, drill, camaraderie and combat tactics.

As "HEADQUARTERS", we have the ability to represent both the paratroops ("Jumpers") and glider troops ("Glider-Riders"), as well as other attached units which served with the WWII 101st Airborne Division. We also encompass a variety of impressions beyond the common parachute infantry of most airborne reenactor units. Our impressions include Division Reconnaissance Platoon (RECON), Division Artillery (321st DIVARTY), Division Medical (326th Airborne Medical Company) and a variety of other divisional and attached assets which served alongside and supported the Airborne Companies and Riflemen.
